In September 2007, we embarked on a remarkable journey as Delta Bay Church, a radiant beacon of faith in Antioch, California. We were founded as a church plant with a clear mission: to bring the love and light of Christ to our community and beyond. Our 16-year history is a story of resilience, unwavering faith, and a steadfast dedication to our mission:
2007-2008 – It all began humbly in the Fellowship Hall, where we sowed the seeds of our faith community and laid the foundation of our church.
2008-2010 – Antioch Waterpark: During these years, we grew both spiritually and numerically while holding our services at the Antioch Waterpark in Antioch, CA. This period marked a season of growth and spiritual strengthening.
2010-2011 – Dallas Ranch Middle School: We transitioned to Dallas Ranch Middle School in Antioch, CA, expanding our reach within the local community and witnessing growth in faith and numbers.
2011-2013 – Pittsburg, CA: Our journey led us to a small building in Pittsburg, CA, where we gathered for worship and fellowship. It was during this chapter that we deepened our connection with the Pittsburg community, sharing the message of faith with those around us.
2013-2019 – Back to Antioch, CA: Returning to our roots in Antioch, CA, we conducted services in a renovated warehouse. This period was characterized by a renewed sense of purpose and an unwavering commitment to serving the community with the boundless love of Christ.
2020-2023 – A Shared Church in Antioch, CA: We held our services at a shared church in Antioch, CA. This allowed us to strengthen our ties with the local faith community and expand our outreach efforts.
2023 – Back where it all began, we are now the owners of the church, where we began our journey.
Throughout the years, our congregation has faced challenges and celebrated victories, but our unwavering dedication to spreading the Gospel has remained constant. Your resilience has been a tremendous source of inspiration for us all, as together, we’ve weathered storms and emerged stronger in our faith and closer in our bonds of love.
We also want to express our deep gratitude and warm appreciation for the fearless and loving efforts of our Minister, Dr. Lamont A. Francies, and his wife, Lady Tiffany Francies. Their unwavering commitment, dedication, and leadership have been instrumental in guiding our congregation through various seasons of growth and change.
As we look forward to the future, we do so with hearts warmed by the love of Christ, ready to continue our mission of faith, unity, and service to our community. May God’s grace continue to guide and bless Delta Bay Church as we embark on the next chapter of our journey.
