CityTeam, Oakland: Food, shelter, and love

$15

Cityteam is a Christian non-profit organization dedicated to serving those who are poor or homeless around the United States since 1957. During these challenging Covid-19 times, Cityteam has continued  to serve the community by providing meals and shelter for men and women as they grow and heal and gain new life skills centered in the love and mercy of Christ. The broader Oakland community is being served with increased meal deliveries and living and school supplies. Some highlights:

  • The women in the Turning Point house (formerly House of Hope), continue  to grow in community in a safe and supportive environment surrounded  by the garden.
  • A new transition mens’ house creates growth opportunities with housing  for graduates of the program.
  • The Washington Street building is receiving much needed physical improvements, preparing for expanded programming and community services.

$15 will provide food, shelter and  compassionate love to members of the Oakland community
